Kathy Moore | Principal
Kathy Moore is a marketing, branding, and public relations strategist. She helps clients define their brand, develop key messages, identify target audiences, and share their stories. Clients include local and municipal governments, cultural and natural attractions, economic development, development and construction, nonprofits, conservation organizations, and more. Her projects have received awards from the International Economic Development Association, the Southern Economic Development Council, and the Virginia Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus.
Prior to opening her own firm Moore Public Relations in 2008, Kathy Moore was the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Frazier Associates, an award-winning architecture and planning firm based in Staunton, Virginia. Kathy was previously employed by The Rouse Company, a national real estate development and management company (purchased in 2004 by General Growth Properties). For The Rouse Company, she managed the marketing and sales program for Westlake Center, a retail destination of 80 shops in downtown Seattle, Washington, with annual traffic of approximately 8-10 million people and $48 million in annual sales. Earlier, she was the Marketing and Public Relations Director for Mithun, also in Seattle, Washington. She began her career in design marketing in the Washington, DC office of HOK, ranked the largest global A/E firm by Building Design & Construction magazine.
She is a 1989 graduate of the University of Virginia and a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
